Set Apart As Holy To the Lord

“Finally, they made the sacred medallion of pure gold to be worn on the front of the turban. Using the techniques of an engraver, they inscribed it with these words: SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD” (Exo. 39:30).
I know no one is likely to start wearing a big gold medallion, inscribed with “SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD.” But WHAT IF God had required it in our Covenant, for you, for every day? You’d wear it to the stores, to work, playing basketball, in your home... How would the constant presence of that DECLARATION, “SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD” on a large, gold medallion on your chest, for all to see—how would that affect your AWARENESS of Who you belong to, and HOW you should think, speak, and act? Go ahead! Volunteer to engrave those words ON YOUR HEART, ON YOUR TONGUE, IN YOUR EYES—for all to see, wherever you go!! Let it be that obvious, “I AM SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD!” 9:08 a.m.

Is it POSSIBLE that we will enjoy this Spiritual and physical prosperity forever, though we be servants of Jesus Christ? I think not. This is only the beginning. For the Lamb and the Woman and her Offspring, let it begin. We will stand on that day, in the Spirit and Grace of the King of Glory.

Advice of the day for Disciples of Jesus : ) So WHEN your emotions jump to “highs” and crash to “lows” and WHEN your feelings fluctuate violently (I know, I know—you have GREAT reasons for it all : ) ) ........ be sure and treat your King Jesus, AND those who are His, with a STEADY respect and SENSITIVE kindness and UNSHAKEABLE commitment. ANYWAY! No MATTER how you “feel.” : ) When you’re “feeling” rocky, just remember this: You are a “chemical” machine by Design of your “shell”—and therefore you should EXPECT that many of your temptations in life will come in that form of “feelings” and “emotions” and “fatigue” and “frustration.” Just brush them off out of CHARACTER and COMMITMENT, and “carry on” for the Lamb. For it is, in the end, “CHRIST, the Anointed One, IN you: the hope of GLORY!” 9:25 a.m.
