Abandon the Old to Live Out the New
If an earthworm were to change into an eagle... he would need to assume that life as he knew it would need to change. He can’t just pick and choose. Eagle’s wings don’t function as they were intended when you’re burrowing through the earth. For the wings to “work,” life in the earth and of the earth must change. We must let go of Adam’s life in order to LIVE OUT the Christ-Life that HAS BEEN deposited in us; and that abides in us by faith. —nb 6:41 p.m.
